Perimenopause hit me out of nowhere. In my late 30s, I was battling anxiety, panic attacks, insomnia, weight gain, and a deep sense of dread. Every test came back normal, but then I noticed my cycle changing and learned my mum had early menopause at 44 - suddenly, everything made sense.
As a Nutritionist and fitness professional, I realized I wasn’t supporting my changing body. Refocusing on protein, plants, and weight training, I prioritized sleep and began a daily breathwork practice. Slowly, I felt joy return, and I became committed to helping other women navigate this phase too.
